LIFE AT THE END OF A DIRT ROAD IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA

organically grown triticale in our field

raspberries growing wild on our property

Look at this little cutie… It's the most perfect size.

Aluminum travel trailer ext pre

We have completely stripped the inside and are presently researching the manufacturer, year it was built, and photos to determine authenic interior styles so that we can accurately recreate its period look. We want to include a refrigerator and a kitchen sink but no stove. We'll use a camp stove set up on folding metal table for cooking outside under an attached canopy. Our friend, Craig, is a master cabinet builder, so we will hire him to work his magic over the winter months.

That is just adorable , Adrienne! I’m already imagining the finished product.
The tofu burger recipe was in my inbox as well, although I haven’t tried it yet. Your photo sure makes it look tempting.
Wishing you well, Adrienne. I still have some spoons for you. Jackie

We can’t wait to watch the transformation and then be able to take it on our first camping outing! In our travels, we have begun to take notice of the many different vintage travel trailer styles… in people’s backyards, on the road, and in campgrounds… each of them as cute as the one before. It’s just seeing things with new eyes that, on the very same route, we previously missed.

Researching and planning how the layout, color scheme, and choice of materials will all come together is equally as fun as it will be to eventually camp overnight in our travel trailer. I’ll provide updates as we progress.
